 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I went to Dr Xia for a consultation in March due to my persistent shoulder pain for many years. She kindly advised me to do the acupuncture which could improve the stress and pain. So I purchased a course of treatments with her to resolve the pain issue. I can feel the improvement after the first three visits and the pain between my shoulder blade and spine slowly faded away.

Then, it came the lower back pain due to my training. Dr Xia then employed more needles all over my body to open up the circulation (I am sure if I say this right) for the following few treatments. The situation got better and better.

Throughout the course of the treatments, Dr Xia selflessly offered other treatments like massages and cupping, 5 or 10 mins here and there, and shares tips on how to look after my body. I also tried the herbal medicines she had prescribed me for two weeks to improve and protect organ functions. I must say it helped me sleep much better at night.

The most memorable experience I had with her is when she tried a special cupping massage. Traditionally, heated cups would be left on your back for a certain period of time, but Dr Xia uses a slightly different technique: she heats ups the cups and leaves on your back. Then she starts moving the cups up and down to suck out the internal cold from your body. Moving cups works on the muscles/muscles tissues and goes deeper if you have any muscles or nervous issue. I was amazed by this technique and the shoulder pain was literally disappeared in a few days after the treatment. We did this in the end of April and then I didn’t see her until last week for another treatment. In between, I didn’t have the shoulder pain again.

I highly recommend her to those who are dubious about, like I used to be, but want to try alternative medical treatments. Dr Xia has over 40 years practical experience treating patients and her goal is very simple: she wants you to get better and well.
